Our Community
Community Outreach is imperative to Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. We truly believe in building deeper relationships with one another as we apply the message of the gospel to our own lives and the lives around us.
Church Mission
The mission of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church is to win souls for the glory of God by the teaching and preaching of God's word through bible study, evangelism, mission work, and Christian education. Our plan is to accomplish our mission by reaching out beyond our walls to the community and mankind.

Our doors are open to all walks of life. We do not believe in judgment of any kind as our doors are open to anyone. The church family loves newcomers and treats each individual as an asset to God’s mission upon entering the doors of our church.Take Me To Church
A proud pastor, Reverend Edward Francis, is the pastor of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois. He developed a love and sense of compassion for others. Even as a child, he exemplified a spirit of devotion and cared for the needs of others more than his own. These early years laid the foundation for the life and the ministry of a humble servant of God. Although best known for his gift of preaching, his ministry began in community service. He started working at a local homeless shelter at the age of eight and quickly distinguished himself as a pillar of his community. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at the age of 12, and during his teens, he served in multiple roles at his home church.
The recipient of many honors and awards, Pastor Edward Francis, is a national icon among preachers and pastors. His heart for serving God’s people remains the same as he focuses on service and not fame and prosperity, a rarity for a pastor and preacher of his caliber. A servant-leader, Pastor Francis visits the sick, serves bereaved families at repasts, counsels members privately, and greet members and visitors after each worship service. He is the epitome of a man of God.
